About the project
Every year, on the tiny island of Bornholm, Denmark, there is a conference called “Folkemødet”. For the 2015 edition, Brainstorm CrossMedia, has designed a small application that was part of a social game. The app facilitated the connection between the participants from the conference and an interactive tent. The actual tent had some screens where information from the phones was displayed in real time.

CROSS-PLATFORM APPROACH
Instead of developing for native iOS or Android, we have opted for a rapid web solution which allowed us to run the app on both platforms. The time spent developing the solution was a lot shorter, and the final user experience was the same as on a native app.

Instructional Video
To make it easy for the users, we made a short instructional video on how to use the web app. The approach was straight to the point, with just 3 steps to follow up. We didn’t want the users to get confused. We wanted them to just try the app.
